YOU make Camp RYSE possible!

Our Mission:

The mission of RYSE (Refugee Youth Solidarity through Education) is to foster literacy, confidence, and community among K-12 refugee youth in Rhode Island through hands-on, joyful summer learning and leadership development.

Our Programs:

We fulfill our mission through our two programs: Camp RYSE and RYPM. Camp RYSE is a free, five-week summer camp program for 100-120 refugee youth with a curriculum focused on English language learning, enriching field trips, creative and athletic outlets, free breakfast and lunch, and a strong supportive community. RYPM is a free, two-week summit for 20-25 high school-age students that focuses on community building and leadership skills.
